Hello All,
Stretch Goal Winner - Extra Battery
We apologize for not announcing this sooner, but the landslide winner for the stretch goal was an extra free battery. So everyone will be receiving an extra battery!
New Sample Update - Pocket Clip mod
Thanks to your feedback, we've made a slight modification by adding small clip supports to the light head for a more secure clip and to ensure strength and durability overtime. This also allows you to put the clip in two positions if you prefer a deeper carry.
Pen Cap
Here is a photo of the pen cap. Since just about everybody shared, everyone will be receiving the free pen cap! It does not show up in BackerKit but rest assured it will be included in your package.

We will be sending an email with a special link to the official BackerKit surveys. It is important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information for fulfilling your rewards.
You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey, just click on the survey link, fill it out, and you’re good to go! You will be able to answer questions about your rewards preferences, provide shipping information, and add on additional items if you'd like. You do not have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
If you decide later that you want to edit your survey response, you can go back to your survey and change it any time before we lock down the surveys for processing.

We're preparing to start production right away. In order for us to get a quick count of the number of pens and their finish, we ask that you please fill out the quick survey below as soon as possible.This will help us start production.
Please select the number of pens you plan on ordering under the corresponding finish you'd like. There will also be a question for refills and extra batteries if you plan on ordering extra. Keep in mind that you will have the option to add on more pens and other items once we send out the BackerKit survey.
We understood your concern on the stretch goal and agree that an extra battery might be a better option instead of a usb cable (since they are not as common). We still want to make sure this as beneficial for everyone so we've also included a poll in the above survey so you guys will be able to vote on which you prefer. We will post an update with the results as soon as we can.
What's next?
In about two weeks, we will be sending out a BackerKit survey. This is the official survey where you will be filling out your information, making your finish selections and also purchase add ons if you'd like. The BackerKit survey invite will be sent to the email address you use with your Kickstarter account. Once these surveys go out, we'll post another update.

New Stretch Goal: Mini flexible USB Charging Cable
We originally thought it would be a good option to offer a stone wash finish as a $100k stretch goal. After some contemplation and feedback from backers, we feel like this isn't going to be the best way to offer a stretch goal to our backers. We want to make sure that every backer gets something for helping us reach this goal. In an effort to include everyone, we're going to be giving a free mini charging cable to all of our backers if we can reach our stretch goal of $100k. In addition to including all backers, this will also greatly help in simplifying logistics and speed up production time. This means that you'll get your rewards as quickly as possible. We apologize for any confusion and hope this is a good compromise to include everybody.

FREE TITANIUM PEN CAP
We've answered the backer requests and have decided to create a magnetic quick release cap for the pen if you would like to use it on its own. The prototype is currently being made, but here is the rendering below. To get your FREE titanium pen cap, see the details below.

Just share a link to our Kickstarter campaign on Facebook, Twitter, or your favorite EDC forum and we'll add the FREE PEN CAP to your reward (limit one per backer). Basically anyway to help spread the word!
Once you've posted, just send us a message or comment on Kickstarter with proof of your post (copy and paste post link) or tweet. We'll take care of the rest. Please make sure you notify us through either method or we won't know you've shared.
Sharing after the campaign has ended will not qualify for a free pen cap.
